In conjunction with the implementation of the new Delaware Corporation Information System (DCIS), the Division of Corporations declared an “extraordinary condition” that began at 4:31pm on Thursday, September 3 and will end Friday, October 2 at 10:30pm. This declaration enabled customers to receive a filing date and time after 4:30PM on Thursday, September 3, any time the day of Friday, September 4 or any date through Friday, October 2 provided such request is in accordance with statutory requirements [see 8 Del. C., §103 (i)(1) http://delcode.delaware.gov/title8/c001/sc01/index.shtml]. Any requests for an earlier file date and time must be received no later than close of business Tuesday, October 6. The division also announced the operating hours for its new system during the week of October 5-9 will be until midnight Eastern Time Monday through Thursday and until 10:30 pm ET Friday; the division will be staffed until 8:00 pm for the week. The cut-off times for expedited services will remain 30 minute and 1 hour requests must be submitted by 6:00 pm and 2 hour must be submitted by 5:00 pm.
