The Secretary of State quarterly newsletter included a reminder that domestic corporations and LLC are involuntarily dissolved for failure to file annual report by December 1 and authority is revoked for foreign business entities transacting business in Montana without filing an annual report by November 1.   The newsletter summarized 2015 legislation impacting business filings including the elimination of a requirement to submit a current certificate of existence; authority for foreign LPs to amend certificate of authority; removal of date of first use requirement for assumed business names and LLPs; and established benefit corporations.
