Chapman is executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and has played a vital role in the company's technology advances.
Chapman joined Old Republic Title in 1996 as manager of Image Technologies for Old Republic Business Information and Technology (ORBIT), which was established to provide company owned locations and customers with image-enabled real estate information.
In spearheading the company's technology initiatives, Chapman's efforts have led to a corporate posture that realizes the importance of utilizing cutting-edge technology. Under his supervision, the company stays abreast of technological changes and improvements, which are utilized in the further development of and maintenance to Intranet and Internet platforms.
Prior to joining Old Republic Title, Chapman's entrepreneurial zeal led him to own and operate two information management companies, one of which was an imaging technology business that focused on the development and implementation of document imaging systems.
