CSC colleagues make the season brighter

The holiday season is a time to celebrate generosity, community, and the spirit of giving.

In 2025, our colleagues have once again shown incredible dedication, contributing their time, energy, and resources to causes that make a real difference. From toy drives and food collections to fundraisers and community events, teams across the globe have found creative ways to support the communities they care about.

Here are just a few highlights of how our people came together to spread cheer, support others, and make this season brighter for those in need.

Spreading cheer tree by tree | Delaware

This season, several of our colleagues volunteered with Delaware Hospice to help prepare their annual Festival of Trees event. The team spent the day unboxing and setting up artificial trees, working alongside other community groups to transform three rooms into beautifully festive spaces. The atmosphere was filled with teamwork and holiday spirit as the displays began to take shape. “Being part of this event each year reminds me how meaningful it is to give our time. It’s a simple way to create joy for so many people,” says Christine Cioban, team leader of accounts payable. That sentiment captured the energy of the day and the purpose behind the effort. For many on the team, this event has become a cherished tradition and a chance to make a tangible impact. It was a rewarding reminder of what the season’s true meaning, coming together to support our community.

Kicking up holiday cheer | Cyprus

This year, our Cyprus team brought together colleagues, families, and friends for the annual Football Business Tournament, a tradition rooted in community spirit and giving back. The day was filled with friendly competition on the field as well as festive, family-friendly activities that made the event enjoyable for all. Children laughed their way through the entertainment while supporters gathered to cheer on the teams, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. “What I love most about this event is seeing everyone come together—playing, celebrating, and doing something meaningful for the community,” says office manager Maria Theodosiou. Donations from the tournament supported Eidiko Paidiko Anarrotirio Lemesou, helping provide meaningful assistance to children with special needs. The event highlighted the powerful impact of combining sport, celebration, and purpose. It was a memorable reminder of how shared moments can bring joy while making a difference.

Boxes of joy | Dublin

Our Dublin team proudly supported Team Hope Ireland’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal, helping send gifts to children affected by poverty around the world. Colleagues across our offices donated toiletries, toys, games, stationery, candy, and clothing to fill the boxes with joy. Together, the Dublin team packed 24 shoeboxes, while our Gorey office filled two more and raised funds for six additional boxes. CSC kindly matched the fundraising effort, bringing our total contribution to 38 shoeboxes. The project brought plenty of excitement and teamwork as everyone pitched in to create meaningful holiday surprises. “It’s amazing to think that something as simple as a small box can make a child feel seen and celebrated at Christmas,” says Dominique van Oosten, senior transaction analyst.

Spreading joy, one toy at a time | Various

Delaware

A team from our global headquarters in Wilmington hosted a two-week toy drive supporting the local Ronald McDonald House, rallying together to collect more than 100 toys and essential items for caregivers. The generosity was overwhelming, so much so that it took three full carts to load everything for transport. These donated items were arranged in a festive “shopping” room where families staying at the house could choose Christmas gifts for their children at no cost. Caregivers and parents will also have the chance to select items chosen just for them. It was a great effort that helped support families spending the holidays away from home.

San Diego

Our toy drive and holiday event on Dec. 4 was a meaningful highlight of our Season of Giving campaign. Team members across the organization came together to support families at the local Ronald McDonald House, contributing an impressive range of donated gifts. The collective generosity demonstrated our shared commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. Many colleagues also extended their support by sending gifts directly to the house, helping amplify the overall impact of the initiative.

Amsterdam

Our Amsterdam team chose to support the Gijs Lions Club Amsterdam for their Saint Nicholas Collection Campaign, continuing a tradition that means a great deal to the group. The organization happily confirmed that they could receive the toys before the holiday season, making the timing ideal for another round of donations. Colleagues quickly began gathering toys, energized by the chance to give back in a familiar and meaningful way. “We wanted to bring some joy to children who might otherwise have missed out during the festive season,” says Alexandra Mihaleto, senior analyst. The team looks forward to continuing the collection and coming together in Amsterdam as the effort progresses.

More of our Amsterdam colleagues joined together to support Operation Sinterklaas through a toy collection drive to benefit children in need. Teams across the office filled donation boxes with books, puzzles, games, and other gifts for children of all ages. The collected toys were delivered to Voedselbank Sintinzamelactie, helping ensure that every child has something special to open during the Sinterklaas celebration. “Seeing everyone contribute in their own way reminds me how even small gestures can create big moments of happiness,” says Anna Riapasova, CDD analyst. This simple but meaningful effort helped brighten the holiday season for families across the community.
