WILMINGTON, Del. – CSC® announces the election of Rodman Ward III as president and chief executive officer effective April 5, 2010.

Ward has served as a CSC board member for over fifteen years and is a fourth generation descendant of one of the company's founders. Since 2002, he has been president and chief executive officer of Speakman Company, a premier supplier of faucets, showerheads, and related plumbing fixtures. Under his direction, Speakman's sales increased over 30%. Additionally, the company implemented a new strategic planning process, established a new business in advanced cooling technologies, opened a Beijing sales office, and won the 2008 Delaware Quality Award. Previously, he held various positions at Snap-on Inc., FMC Corporation, and Credit Suisse.

Ward is the immediate past president of PMI, the lead trade association for plumbing companies. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Benjamin Obdyke Corporation, is the Board Vice Chair of East Side Learning Center, member of YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) Philadelphia Chapter, and board member of World Affairs Council Wilmington and Delaware Theatre Company.

Ward holds a B.S. in Geology and Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from Kenan Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina. He lives in Wilmington, DE with his wife, Gina, and their three children, Carolyn, Julia, and Robby.

Daniel Butler, chair of the CSC board of directors, said, "Rod has served as a board member since 1994 and knows CSC well. He has over 20 years of great work and leadership experience. As evidenced by his time at Speakman Company, he understands how to improve processes and increase sales. His commitment to enhancing the lives of others is demonstrated by his involvement in community and industry associations. We are thrilled to have him join us."

CSC's current president and chief executive officer, Bruce R. Winn, will retain his role as a member of the board of directors. Winn has served as CSC's president since 1997 and chief executive officer since 1998.

According to Butler, "Bruce has had a tremendous impact on our organization since joining the company in 1989. He was the primary architect in developing our core values, in building an outstanding team, and in spearheading the company's highly successful acquisitions. Bruce's intellect, energy, and absolute integrity have become a part of the CSC experience that is embraced by employees, board members, and industry colleagues."

In June 2010, Winn and his wife, Nancy, will leave to serve a multi-year missionary assignment for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

"This is a positive transition in all respects," said Winn. "Rod knows the business well and will be a great leader for the organization. I'm also happy to continue to serve CSC as a board member while having the opportunity to pursue this worthwhile endeavor."
