  • What is a reinstatement?

    If your company has gone to an inactive or “void” status with the state of formation or foreign qualification, you’ll need to file a reinstatement to return your company to good standing.

  • Why would I file a reinstatement?

    If your company misses an important state filing such as an annual report, or if you have not paid a franchise tax, your company may fall out of good standing with the state. You’ll need to file a reinstatement to return your company to good standing. In most states, a corporate entity must be in an active status to file any changes or to retrieve a Certificate of Good standing.
